Connect your AI assistant to your Web Hoster hosting and publish sites directly to your domain.

What it does

Web Hoster is a Georgian web hosting company (cPanel hosting, plans from ₾25 a month). The Web Hoster connector lets an AI assistant such as Claude build a website or web app and publish it directly to the customer's own hosting account and domain. Every change is saved as a version and can be undone in one step.

Setup

  • You need an active Web Hoster hosting plan (plans).
  • Claude: open the Connectors directory and connect Web Hoster, or add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.webhoster.ge/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http webhoster https://mcp.webhoster.ge/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
  • Sign in with your Web Hoster client account. On the consent screen choose which site (domain and folder) the assistant may work on. Nothing outside that folder is accessible.
  • Manage connections, see the change history and roll back in the client area: AI hosting panel.

Tools

  • site_info (read only): domain, live URL, PHP version, disk usage, SSL status and the hosting rules.
  • list_files, read_file (read only): browse and read the site's files.
  • write_file, publish_site: create or update one file or many files at once. Each call is one version.
  • delete_file (destructive): delete a file; saved as a version, can be restored.
  • list_versions (read only) and rollback (destructive): change history (kept 24 hours) and restore an earlier state.
  • create_database, create_mailbox: MySQL database with a user, or a mailbox on the customer's domain.
  • setup_contact_form: install a ready PHP form handler that emails submissions to the customer.
  • setup_github_deploy: connect a GitHub repository so every push builds and publishes the site.
  • get_logs (read only): recent PHP and server errors, so the assistant can fix problems.

Limits

  • Hosting is Apache and PHP. Static sites and PHP run directly; React, Vite and similar projects are published as built files.
  • Up to 300 files or 60 MB per publish call, 25 MB per file. Disk, mailbox and database limits follow the customer's hosting plan.

Security

  • OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. Access tokens expire after one hour; refresh tokens rotate.
  • Each connection is bound to one hosting account and one site folder chosen by the customer. Paths outside it are rejected.
  • Customers can disconnect any assistant at any time in the client area; tokens are revoked immediately.
  • Database passwords are written to a config file outside the web root and are never returned to the assistant. Mailbox passwords are set by the customer in the AI panel.
